ASK, Seek, Knock

I literally rolled out of bed with these words in my mind: Ask, Seek, Knock.  The bible verse immediately came to my mind. Whether or not one subscribes to Christianity as a way of life, the life applicable Biblical principles are undeniable.  The New Living Translation of Matthew 7:7 reads, “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”  Notice how this translation says, “Keep on asking..Keep on seeking…Keep on knocking…”

Business, Network Marketing, Life… is not for the easily discouraged. You have to be willing to ask and ask again, seek and seek again, knock and knock again.

There is hope in whatever you desire to achieve.  Matthew 7:8 reads, “For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.”  Wow, powerful!

I believe that sometimes we subconsciously ask, seek and knock on doors of the things we least desire – fear, insecurity, doubt, lack.  We may meditate on these things and wonder why we keep attracting those things into our lives. On the other hand, we may ask once for the sale, or seek guidance on growing a business one time. We may knock on the door of a prospect one time- and then give up!

Let me encourage you in your pursuits to continually persist so that you will succeed!  Don’t allow one “no” to set you back from asking for the next “yes”.  Seek knowledge, and acquire greater skill. Listen to the feedback to understand why you received a “no” and adjust accordingly.  Knock on some more doors and again, don’t give up!
