Well, I’ve been working hard the last few weeks, learning all I can so that I can reach more people and assist them with starting businesses. I launched a website, a new Facebook page, targeted some Fb advertising, attempted two webinars, and been a guest on a business leader’s webinar.
As I prepared to go on the webinar hosted by business leader, I considered promoting and releasing my website, but I decided not to share it because I’m still working on it. It’s not quite ready yet. It’s nowhere near perfect. Honestly, I didn’t feel my new Facebook page was ready yet either, but I knew I had to give the audience somewhere to connect with me for further information.
At the end of the webinar, I thought about the reality that imperfection is totally acceptable. I watched the replay of the webinar, and before doing so, I told myself “I will not critique and criticize my presentation”. I didn’t. I watched and I learned and I know that future presentations I do will be better and stronger. But I did it. Imperfect and all. I want to thank Raeh Williams for her value to the business community, and for inviting me to be a part of her Womanpreneur Spotlight series. I am truly grateful that our paths crossed years ago, and have learned so much from her.
